STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE
Manhattan Beach Gold - Many people think of LA as a crazy, hectic place, but for me, it is a place of solitude—it is my home. On this late December day, while walking along The Strand, I caught a glimpse of the ocean through the coastal grasses and was reminded why I try to catch every sunrise and sunset I can—they are always so magical. Bathed in golden light, the lifeguard tower stands in quiet silhouette, a timeless guardian of the Pacific. This moment perfectly captures the peace and beauty that make Manhattan Beach my haven.
