PERSONAL CONNECTION

I recently discovered the Waves by Johny Instagram page and was completely in awe of the thoughtful, beautiful, and inspirational images that were displayed. While I don’t know him personally, I feel a connection to the work and his free spirit. He is definitely someone I’d enjoy getting a chance to share a surfwith.

ARTIST BIO

Hey I'm Johny Vieira, Painter and surfer living in my caravan, allowing myself for more freedom, to surf and  paint, to get inspired and living the dream of surfing.....the endless search

Born in 87, from Santa Cruz, Portugal. After starting to surf,20 + years ago, ocean became a place where I constantly seek inspiration, fun, and energy. It is in the ocean where I feel at home and useful to myself.

Surfing also became a bridge to and a platform for the world of creating. Nowadays I´m dedicated to painting with watercolor. I like to transfer the essence of surfing, traveling, and exploration of empty lineups into a painting. Basically, this is it.
