“Valerartsy 2.0 Tioga Lake, LA Coastline & Joshua Tree”

STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE
I wanted to include one image in the California Portal show that was a collaboration with artist and talented photo retouching specialist Tobiann of Tobiann Studios. The image is part vision/ part dream, a human retouched snapshot of various views from around CA on the eve of AI entering the photographic world. And also, most importantly, a daily reminder of greatness on the horizon if you're willing to explore.
ARTIST BIO
Ian Votteri first picked up a camera at a young age while exploring the Coastlines and Mountains surrounding the Bay Area in Northern California. After packing his bags and heading south he eventually settled in Los Angeles after stop-overs in San Diego and San Francisco. Through these various locations, he's studied California's Golden Light and California's limitless wonders.
When Ian's not in the office he can be found working in production and scouting around the globe with a camera in hand. And when he's not on the road, most evenings the California Native can be found between Washington Blvd and Windward near Venice Beach chasing sunsets on an old cruiser.
Through his lens, he captures what is now known as #Valerartsy imagery and through his most recent show he brings to you his "California Portal" view.
