STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE
From the artist: My art is inspired by my multicultural background and travels throughout the globe, as an artist and devoted surfer, as well as in my first career in the tech industry. My paintings are influenced by the Southern California lifestyle, designed in the South Bay and executed sustainably using reclaimed material. The contrasting charms of my style make for a diverse portfolio, while the varying textures, shapes and irregularities of reclaimed material selection lends a unique, whimsical and ‘one-of-a-kind’ charm to each of my creations
PERSONAL CONNECTION
I originally discovered Adèle’s paintings at a local art show in Manhattan Beach and was immediately drawn to her use of mixed materials and bold style. She has a dynamic viewpoint in her works, that can be both subtle yet thought provoking, but overall very pleasing.
ARTIST BIO
Adèle is a French Native, Adopted Australian Turned New Yorker, in exile in California who has enjoyed considerable commercial success both in Sydney and New York City before establishing her studio in the South Bay.
